Volunteers

    STEPS at Pinelake Village Cooperative needs:

  • a few hours of clerical and office help per week
  • gardening equipment: small and large gloves, rakes, hoes, shovels, trowels, watering cans, hoses, wheelbarrows, loppers, bow saws, a spray tank, mulch
  • talk leaders who can introduce environmental and native landscaping principles to children and answer questions
  • warm and strong bodies to help with the work in the planting seasons

  • volunteering your time in ways you enjoy.
  • contributing in-kind gifts of gardening tools to the Pinelake office 2680, Adrienne Dr., Ann Arbor  MI  48103.
  • recycling old cell phones–even if they don’t work:  

 Your contributions will help us to:

  • lessen the expenses to continue to offer educational and environmental programs for at-risk children and their families
  • buy a large sturdy picnic table for outdoor classes and activities, as well as for summer socializing
  • buy signage,  garden tools, and computer learning programs
  • buy computers
  • save toward buying a minibus for transport to other activities
